Wibbly Wobbly Time Bandit

Amelia. 21 years old. USA.

Music blog: majesty-snowbird.tumblr.com

Lots of fandom madness, some personal musings, music, film, books, whatever I feel like.

My blog name is a mash up of a Doctor Who reference (you all know the one) and a lyric by Johnny Flynn, one of my favorite musicians.
Who I Follow

After ten minutes alone in the dark street, a new emotion overtook him: panic. Whichever way he looked at it, he had never been in a worse fix. He was stranded, quite alone, in the dark Muggle world, with absolutely nowhere to go. - J.K. Rowling

Evening Post: August 12, 1899.
"She immediately alighted, caught hold of the astonished youth, and gave him a sound thrashing, using her fists in a scientific fashion…”

I would love to know what this means.

I think that might be code for “punched him in the balls with devastating accuracy”.

Watching the Politician’s Husband with my man David Tennant. He’s wonderful of course, still not fully convinced by the writing. I am curious to see how everything develops, especially with what I can only assume will be a deteriorating relationship between husband and wife.

Update: hmmmmm. Wasn’t a huge fan. Not well written enough for me to enjoy watching 3 episodes about some truly awful people.

DAN: When you do interviews, you’re faced with the choice to either be the most boring person on earth or just get ridiculous things written about you from time to time
JOSH HOROWITZ: Sometimes it might be good to be boring
DAN: It might be but I just get bored of myself

Nobody gives the black girl mob credit for being smart as fuck. They clown but at the end of the day they are really intelligent.

And it’s not subtle at all.
Taystee is a math prodigy in addition to being well-read, Poussey is multilingual, Cindy just knows shit, Suzanne studies Shakespeare, Watson was a good student in addition to being a track star, Vee is basically an evil genius. Piper often learns the most from them; they taught her how to fight and helped translate Pennsatucky’s biblical threat.
The show flat out acknowledges the (academic) intelligence of the black inmates time and time again, but the audience collectively ignores it.

ALL OF THIS

there is a huge difference between genuinely liking someone and liking the attention they give you and it took me a long time to realise that
